The Chicago Ensemble announces “Discover America IX” call for scores. Composers are invited to submit scores written in recent years. Selected works are likely to be programmed in the 2017-18 and 2018-2019 seasons. There is no monetary award.

The Chicago Ensemble is a professional chamber group completing its 40th season. We present a varied repertoire (baroque to contemporary) for voice, strings, woodwinds and piano. The ensemble performs a subscription series of five programs, fall through spring. Each program is performed at two Chicago locations.

Keep Composer's Weird provides an opportunity for selected composers from around the world, ages 21+, to submit a newly composed work that is to be rehearsed, recorded and performed at a concert in Melbourne. Each composer will work with a Melbourne ensemble to workshop their composition and the performance will take place on Saturday 11th of November.

The 2018 Florida International Toy Piano Festival welcomes proposals from composer-performer teams of ensembles of any instrumentation which incorporate toy piano. The 2018 festival offers a unique profit-share split incentive: 2-3 acts will be programmed each night of the festival and each group will receive a cut of no less than 30% of the profits from the performance.

Proposed concerts programs should range from 45-60 minutes in length.
